finished.... for now. until I can't put up with that pixelation around the edges of the red and maroon background parts.

Aside from that (which was photoshop's fault anyway) I am really, REALLY pleased with how this turned out. personally i think the hair came out the best, but that's just me. I also like how the scythe came out all glowy (although the glow around it didn't stay once I put the background in, once again PS's fault because it didn't want to let me erase to transparency)

And yes, the background is abstract. mostly because I can't draw Backgrounds for crap and I didn't want to mess up ~a-bell-of-luminosity's picture any more.

yeah, you heard me. I didn't draw it. if I did, I would be jumping off the walls and saying "lookie lookie what I drew!!!!"

.... So, in short:
1. I like how I colored it, it's a fair step up from my usual coloring buut...

2: I don't think my coloring, even stepped-up, matches her awesome drawing talents. that's what throws it off, either that or the awesome drawing supports my coloring like sturdy pegs can support a soggy piece of paper.
